Marilyn Burdick

Marilyn Burdick died on Tuesday March 29 following a long illness. Marilyn was a well known and highly respected Frenchie breeder (Pudgybull) who was a great friend and mentor to many in our breed. She judged Sweepstakes at the Frenchie 2006 National Specialty in Gatlinburg, TN. She also was a member of the Heartland French Bulldog Club, the French Bull Dog Club of America, and several other kennel clubs. Prior to Frenchies she bred Bulldogs and was also active in the Bulldog Club of America. It has been said that dog shows bring out the best in some people and the worst in others. Marilyn's life in dogs brought out only the best in her, and she will be greatly missed by many.
